Down in New Orleans folks have a local creole saying; "Laissez les bons temps roulez!" Simply put, "Let the good times roll!" With that in mind, The Saucecats serve up some of the hottest cajun and zydeco music this side of the Louisiana bayou. The Saucecats show their hot, steamy cajun music roots. From the first dance tune to the final cajun waltz, audiences feel the rocking rhythm and fill the dance floor. The band features hot, funky horns, pulsing accordion, and a stinging zydeco rub-board, creating "the sauce" in Saucecats. Their masterful musicianship and spirited showmanship pleases all generations. An exploding audience of fans testifies to the Saucecats appeal: grandparents bring grandkids, teenagers bring their pals, and college students gather together singing, dancing and reveling in an invigorating, unforgettable evening of music and dance, Louisiana style.
The Saucecats have performed at major festivals and concerts, opening for the master of New Orleans music himself, Doctor John, southern-rock guitar legend Dicky Betts, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds.
